River Cottage has good ADSL internet. Average speeds are 50mb down and 15mb up.

If you have any issues I would recommend restarting the Router which in located in the small cupboard in the living room.
Alexa & Lighting
River Cottage has Smart ligthing in all rooms. This is controlable via the wall switches or voice control via Alexa. If you feel uncomfortable with this type of home automation please just unplug the Alexa units. Everythign will still work from the wall and lamp switches.
Wall switches
To turn the lights on or off simply press the top button for on or the bottom button for off. If you press and hold either button the lights will dim up and down.

The kitchen and Back bedroom both have Alexa. Here are some common commands for you to try.

Televisions
River Cottage has 3 televisons. One in the front room and one in each bedroom. Currently there is no traditional Freeview aerial connected but all the TVs are smart TV’s and have plents of digital channels as well as the ability to sign into your Nexflix/Prime accounts.
